Savings Realized in 1998
and allocated to the following programs in 1999:
Timiskaming Health Unit: Healthy Babies/Healthy Children
Funding from NCB assisted the Health Unit in the operation of
Well Baby Clinics and home visiting to high-risk
mothers/babies outside the guidelines/funding for the
provincial, mandatory Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Program.
Over one thousand visits were made to all clinics in 1999.
