Social Housing
Other Information
Landlord and Tenant Board
The DTSSAB Social Housing Program must abide by the same rules and laws as any private landlord in Ontario. Although there are a small number of exemptions within the Residential Tenancies Act that apply to social housing providers, the basic rules and processes governing landlord and tenant relations still apply. All landlord-tenant issues are taken to the Landlord and Tenant Board for remediation.
